Engraving in the era of three dimensional printing and other more sophisticated tools may seem incongruous or old-fashioned. Even more when I engrave manually with dry point the plastics that pace and govern our modern life but quickly become obsolete: credit cards, CDs, or phone cards. This is a recycling of some of our contemporary waste.
